A Better Future Through Independence in Europe

The SNP and the SNP alone offers a more positive vision of Scotland.

A Scotland that is not simply dragged down the path of bleak and broken Brexit Britain, of Farage and the race to the right. A Scotland that is fairer, more prosperous and confident, with its own place in the world and voice on the world stage.

That is the vision of self-determination and of regaining the rights and economic benefits of EU citizenship.

Not only are the main unionist parties committed to Brexit despite it having been an clear disaster, we also have a Labour UK Government that has doubled down on austerity and joined the migrant-bashing bandwagon in spite of all evidence that Scotland needs more working age people to support our services and pensioners.

The SNP Scottish Government has worked hard to improve the lives of people living in Scotland using devolved powers, but it will only be able to fully capitalise on the nation’s potential with independence.

Scotland did not support austerity and it did not support Brexit. The reality is Westminster is not working for Scotland.

It is the people who live in Scotland who are best placed to make decisions about Scotland. Only the SNP is credibly advancing that obvious argument.

We have shown that when we have the power to decide for ourselves, we find solutions and make choices that best serve Scotland’s interests. With backing for the SNP and a second independence referendum, Scotland can and will become a successful independent country, with a more dynamic economy and a fairer society.
